A round rubber bellows — also called a bellow boot or round telescopic cover — is a cylindrical folded cover that protects ball screws, cylinder rods and other round components from dust, chips and coolant.
What is a round rubber bellows?
The round bellows slips over a shaft or screw and compresses and extends with it, sealing the round component inside. It is widely used on ball-screw equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder rods, mould guide pins and laser-beam paths — anywhere a round part must stay clean while it moves.
